Today, the national leadership of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, standing in for its leader, @KwankwasoRM , arrived at the Obidient National Secretariat in Abuja, where they were warmly received by the national leadership of the Obidient Movement representing Mr. @PeterObi.

The Obidient Movement and the Kwankwasiyya Movement alignment townhall offered an opportunity for us as a collecrive to showcase our sacrifices, harness our synergy and strategise together, in order to bring forth this long awaited new Nigeria. PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Kwankwasiyya Movement wishes to address members of the African Democratic Congress, our supporters, and all Nigerians regarding the ongoing proceedings before the Supreme Court of Nigeria. While we remain confident in the integrity, independence, and sense of responsibility of the Supreme Court, we consider it necessary to respectfully highlight the urgency surrounding this matter. As it stands, the current situation has placed our party in a race against time. Electoral processes are governed by strict constitutional and administrative timelines, and the absence of a clear and final determination inevitably constrains the ability of the party to fully organize, mobilize, and participate effectively within the democratic space. It is in this regard that we express our earnest hope that, in line with established judicial precedent and its historic role as the guardian of constitutional order, the Supreme Court will take into consideration not only the legal merits of the case but also the time-sensitive nature of the issues involved. The Court has, over the years, demonstrated a clear understanding that justice, to be truly meaningful, must not only be fair but also timelyparticularly in matters with direct implications for democratic participation and national stability. We are therefore confident that the Supreme Court of Nigeria, in exercising its constitutional mandate, will act in a manner that preserves both the integrity of the judiciary and the vitality of Nigerias multiparty democracy. To our members and supporters, we urge patience, unity, and continued commitment to lawful and democratic engagement. This moment calls for resolve and confidence in the institutions that underpin our democracy. JUST IN: President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, has been caught on video openly advising Leke Abejide, a key figure in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), to remain in the party and “fight them… scatter them.” In the viral video, Gbajabiamila, while speaking with Abejide, urged him not to abandon the ADC despite ongoing leadership crises and court battles rocking the opposition party. “I know you to be a committed party man. I know you to be a fighter… So please, my charge to you is to stay in that same ADC. Fight them. Scatter them! Hold on to your party, ADC. Do not abandon them. We like what you are doing. Continue,” Gbajabiamila said. He dismissed suggestions that Abejide should leave the ADC, insisting that the party belongs to him since he built it “with your sweat and your money.” “Don’t mind them — the former Governor said that you should come and join… No, no, no. Stay in ADC. Win your election in ADC as you will. Bring Dada Gombe… Those of us in support… Do the right thing. You are a fighter,” he added. Gbajabiamila further encouraged Abejide to fight in court to retain control of the party.
