Merry Christmas from the sharpest Atom Probe Group in the UK! Santa EPSRC just confirmed funding for a new LEAP 5000 XS atom probe for UK researchers to be installed at Oxford Uni. If all goes to plan we can pop these pointy specimens into the instrument before the end of 2019.
