The @FBI has identified cyber actors associated with Russian Intelligence Services targeting users of commercial messaging applications, including Signal. The campaign targets individuals of high intelligence value, including current and former U.S. government officials, military personnel, political figures, and journalists. Globally, this effort has resulted in unauthorized access to thousands of individual accounts. After gaining access, the actors can view messages and contact lists, send messages as the victim, and conduct additional phishing from a trusted identity. It's important for you to be aware and take action - this vulnerability is not with the application - but you as the end user. @LRoundels Our local radio station (Radio Tees, now TFM) ran a similar question to win a VHS about 1987/8. Of course most people gave the usual answers but I wrote (in tiny letters on the back of a postcard) all the stuff from back issues from DWB. I got a special mention on-air and a video

@Tales_TimeLord Classic Who age is its own thing. When he became the War Doctor he started calling himself a new man and "restarted" his age. War Doctor regenerates at 850 ish, Eccelston is 900 when he meets Rose and then on we go

The new King's Lynn library, which opens on Monday, used to be a branch of Argos and was haunted; the ghost took a liking to an employee apparently!

News of the World is a treasure trove of untouched paranormal articles, probably because its lurid contents puts people off. But for the issues I focussed on, there wasn't much sleaze, scandal or sex. In fact, it was almost respectable. It becomes a scandal rag soon after.

@fesshole Our sysadmin at university told me, when I was learning C, that pointers can be really hard to understand. I wish he hadn't said anything as I think that subconsciously it made me wary of them and it took ages for me to get them too. I think half the problem is the notation.
