Good morning! Conference Day is finally here! We can't wait to get started - with so many interesting talks to get through. We have a lot of attendees this year, so please try to get into the waiting room a little early so we can get everyone checked in on time. But first, we currently have many BfN members attending our annual AGM, which started at 9am. Our financial report for the last year shows an increase in income reflective of the high level of trust in our services. Uncertainty around the future of the government's Start for Life programme means we need more financial support to sustain these services. Our services reach hundreds of thousands of people every year thanks to the time and commitment of our volunteers and paid staff. We are proud to remain a Real Living Wage employer and delighted to have so many of our volunteers and staff demonstrating their dedication to their own continued professional development by attending our Conference today.
