@DrTaras It really highlights how distorted incentives can feel in insurance models when utilization is treated like a cost problem instead of the core purpose of care delivery 🤔

A healthcare insurance company is 🆙 23% 📈 in revenue Q1-2026! Only thing dragging it down is those darn patients utilizing medical procedures 🚑 and pharmaceuticals 💊! Sarcasm 🚨

👏 A standing ovation for the insurance industry. Truly. No one innovates like they do. 💸 I write the prescription. ✍️ They deny it. ❌ I appeal it. 📄 And now the newest level of the denial video game: “Doctor cannot appeal until the patient signs a special AOR form.” 🧩 Ah yes, the classic “We invented a new form today” maneuver. A masterpiece of administrative obstruction. 🎨 A Michelangelo‑level fresco of nonsense. 🖼️ Imagine having entire departments whose job is to delay care long enough that patients give up. Imagine being proud of that. Maybe we should know the names of the people in these departments? Meanwhile physicians are juggling actual patient care 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ AND deciphering whatever new bureaucratic Sudoku puzzle the insurers cooked up before lunch. 🌀 Healthcare insurance (and they’re neither) gets an A+ in ingenuity and an F in humanity. #FixPriorAuth ⚖️ #BreakUpBigMedicine 🧨

This session, Tennessee joined @realDonaldTrump’s mission to stand against healthcare monopolies. For far too long, vertically integrated PBMs have savaged the marketplace.  They control all aspects of the market and as they drive up costs, and force independent pharmacies out of business - while they collect over $300 billion in rebates! We’re fighting back with #HB1959 to restore competition, lower drug prices, and put patients first. @DonaldJTrumpJr

Republicans, independents, Democrats need cheaper healthcare too! Tennessee gets it. Indiana gets it. Pennsylvania is starting to get it. DJTJr if you can get some republicans to support the Break up Big Medicine Bill , then the pricing of HC truly changes for the better It’s not an efficient market. Breaking up ATT opened the door to low cost communications. This is the path for HC !

@DrTerriDeNeui founder of @evexipel knows that normal labs 🥼 🧪 are not optimized and optimized labs are often listed as abnormal. Check out her podcast 🫛📡on this topic for more details. I mean, why would you want to normalize low libido and low energy by showing me a normal testosterone value in a 40, 50, or 60-year-old female? 💪

Want to know how ridiculous and awful Ins company and their PBM denials are? The insurance company that denies the claim, that is if it’s them and not a subcontractor like medica , also picked the network and doctors.   So they are saying the network, that they sold to plan holders as being great, isn’t good enough for them to trust enough to determine your care. And on top of that, they charge to appeal denials. Which is a problem for many people.  That should be illegal.  And on top of that 60 pct of plan holders have plans from self insured employers.  It’s the company’s money.   But the ceo has no idea that the carrier they hired to authorize care , may have denied life or death care.   They don’t know that for some amount of money they may be able to save the life or maintain the health  of an employee or their family.  Require all TPAs to inform the CSuite of all critical denials , same day  They Are Too Big to Care. Break Up Big Medicine.

I’m a male gynecologist — and even I can spot mansplaining from a mile away. And this one? Olympic‑level. Why does an insurance company — which is neither “health” nor “care” — get to decide what form of estrogen a menopausal woman is allowed to use in their VAG*NAH? Both options are generic. Both are safe. Both are clinically appropriate. Yet somehow, there’s always another hoop, another delay, another “try this first” from people who have never treated a single patient. And if you’re wondering why this keeps happening… Who owns the ExpressScripts & EverNorth PBM? CIGNA Who owns the insurer? @Cigna Who owns the doctors? CIGNA It’s all the same corporate machinery — and patients get caught in the gears. Doctors see the decay every day. Patients feel it only when the system blocks them! And we’re all stuck breathing the same toxic air. #MondayMoan #818GYN #FixPriorAuth #MenopauseCare #BreakUpBigMedicineAct @mcuban @SenWarren @SenHawleyPress

Corporate rebrand/Human cost “Denied”🙅‍♂️ Because I called it “Tarzana Hospital” 🏥 instead of “Providence Cedars‑Sinai Tarzana Medical Center.” Same fax number. Same building. Same patients. Different corporate logo. This isn’t healthcare — it’s gatekeeping. Where is the humanity? Where is the Patient Advocacy? @ProvCedars

George Carlin was well ahead of his time A comic and philosophical mind like no other He points out that we must escape jargon and get back to plain and simple language How about laws in Congress that would make sure everything is in plain language instead of jargon?

A man posts a hotel review of the Doha Ritz-Carlton in summer 2024 where his wife was near rap*d by 2 thugs and the Ritz brushed it under the rug! Qatar calls it a cybercrime. Tripadvisor deletes it to stay in the game. When sunlight becomes illegal and platforms dim the lights to keep access, you don’t get safety — you get silence. Free speech isn’t a luxury. It’s the only disinfectant we’ve ever had. standard.co.uk/news/world/qat… 👎 @ritzcarltondoha 👎@Tripadvisor 👏 @standardnews ME: Not just gynecology
