Here in Ireland there's a sense the people are close to breaking point. Its not just about Fuel, it's about decades of political ineptitude, corruption and a creeping disdain for the ordinary people by the Globalist elites in power. Their loyalties are to anyone but the people

In classic bubble to bubble writing State funded academic at DCU wades into spat about MSM but not a word it getting State grants, or that RTE is its bitch or the list verboten in MSM. God help the students. O’Donovan’s attack on RTÉ was wrong, but he had a point about the media irishtimes.com/opinion/2026/0…

@Niall_Boylan Martin's decision to set the police on law abiding protestors last week was a major mistake. It marks a turning point in rural Ireland's relationship with his party. That is why he should go.

MICHEÁL MARTIN insisted he will lead Fianna Fail into the next election. If only I was a betting man. I don’t think he will be leading them past next month. Him and his counter part Harris have shown time and time again, they are not representing the people.

Agree, this is sinister and entirely predictable, picking off individuals and their families who will suffer the consequences as well. Trumped up charges against individuals exercising their right to protest peacefully could lead to an even bigger backlash than ministers expect.

On Monday, the Minister accused RTÉ of biased coverage. On Tuesday, he dropped his call for a review after meeting Coimisiún na Meán. Now he approves a €20,000 pay rise for RTÉ’s Director General. You cannot have it both ways. If coverage is flawed, fix it. If it is not, say so. This looks like poor judgment at best. At worst, it undermines public trust. #Accountability #Media #Ireland
