Over the past 1.5 months Miss Myers’ class has been collecting blankets to those in need here in @Syracuse1848 for their class action project. They collected 113 blankets & were able to donate all blankets to @mcmahonryancac & the Samaritan Center. Way to go!🤍 @SyracuseSchools

4th grade had a BLAST at the @OnondagaHisAssn Salt Museum! “IT WAS SO COOL” learning the @Syracuse1848 history! We LOVED trying different salts & getting to see the process of how brine turns into salt from the ancient ocean that was once here at @SyracuseSaltCo @SyracuseSchools

Welcome to “The Salt City Market 2.0” 4th graders learned about how our city became known as “The Salt City” & how The Haudenosaunee were the first People to use local salt springs to preserve food! At the end we developed our own ideas for local business! #Entrepreneurs
