@RechterAV (cont.) Anderesherum ist es natürlich ein valides Argument das Neuer in Bestform Bälle hält die Baumann und Co. nicht halten. Persönlich wäre mir halt mit jemanderen anderen Torhüter wohler, weil ich nicht sehe das die N11 die Schwächen in Neuers Spiel so kompensiert wie Bayern.

@RechterAV Bisschen Respekt vor den Mainzern :P Spaß beiseite, Neuers Spiel eröffnet sicherlich andere Möglichkeiten und wird der N11 auch was bringen, nur ist bei Bayern deren Offensive in der Lage seine auftauchenden Patzer in 9/10 Fällen zu kompensieren. Das sehe ich bei der N11 nicht.

@Dr_CaCu Maybe you’re thinking of the slider? Looking at his pitch movement plots last year (L) vs. this year (R), it’s clear he’s not throwing the cutter that he was last year.

Ryan Zeferjahn (64 FIP-) is now the Angels de facto closer, and a big key to that promotion was swapping his cutter for a sinker. His sinker has the best zone rate of his pitches, it gets tons of ground balls and it suppresses damage much better than his cutter.

@HalosReport Given how we beat other teams aces so far, we get dominated by Christian Scott but will hit around McLean and Holmes. Not to mention that we still lose all 3 games thanks to the Pen and/or Suzuki Overmanaging.

If the Angels don’t win against Christian Scott tomorrow it might be an ugly series because they face McLean (2.55 ERA) and Holmes (1.75 ERA) on Saturday and Sunday.
