@Dr_Cool OK - thanks for the update. I can confirm from the scans that both the plaintext print wheels (one for encrypt and one for decrypt) both have the J missing thereby printing a space on the tape. I've highlighted here where both letters have their place on the wheel filed out.

@Dr_Cool on your website kryptografie.de/kryptografie/c… you mention the J key being used on the SG-41 to send digits (ie JPKQBJ for 0815). It sounds plausible but do you know where this information came from? Do you have a reference for this? I haven't seen it written anywhere else.
