@jessradio Also requires trauma informed support services and much more accessible healing services. Perpetrators access to recovery services is a disaster.

We can’t just educate our way out of this. Reducing family violence and coercive control is going to require a totally renewed effort to protect children from trauma and intervene early with families that need support.

@KateRaworth Capitalism is a system for organizing a hyper specialized society. Pursuit of profit is the co-ordinating mechanism & can be both effective at targeting resources to needs & highly exploitative. Wealth comes from specialization. We haven't found a better co-ord mechanism.

I'm creating a workshop for unpacking the black box of capitalism, and will start with a range of possible definitions of what it means - pls do share the definition you use (ideally an exact quote with source). I'll share back the whole workshop online once it's ready - thx.
