Obvious agenda haver. Leftwing according to most. Let’s be factual in the fight against fascism. Now with 100% less like policing.

Vote for Biden. Vote for Democrats down ballot. Vote for progressives in primaries. Vote for local and state level positions. Knock on doors. Participate in mutual aid. Advocate for yourself at town halls. Don’t do nothing. Don’t act like it doesn’t matter.

@celestialysia0 Got me actually debating this in my head 🤣. Personally I’m convinced the Viltrumite’s hand breaks before it even touches Brit 💎. The hand blade bounces right off or straight up shatters their fingers. Man’s durability is insane fr.

What happens if a Viltrumite tries a hand-blade on Brit do their fingers break?

@King_Will_Power @amazingatheist If we’re being that pedantic, the choice is actually irrelevant to the problem. Either one person will solve a 12th grade quadratic trigonometric equation somewhere in the world, or they won’t. You choosing an LLM or person of the street won’t change that.

Hypothetical: you’re suspended over a vat of corrosive acid, and in 10 minutes you’ll be slowly lowered in unless someone solves a 12th-grade quadratic trigonometric equation. Your choices are a random person off the street or ChatGPT 5.5. Who do you pick?

Apparently Marvel thinks Professor X is smarter than the mutant who's whole power is knowledge, he's also the only 7 intelligence I can find on marvel.com outside of actual gods

@Brizksie Debbie is just a nazi who learns the truth about Viltrumites and decides they are the Übermensch and deserve to rule over the universe. She raises Mark to accept it, taking away his strongest tie to humanity and morality, but his friendships in high school inspired him to rebel.

@BenisKen The roll can simply tell the DM how badly they failed at the thing that was clearly impossible. A natural 20 can result in a positive outcome without success, while a natural 1 would result in a negative outcome, obviously still without success.

@Blandomen @GalaxySoldier If you reject that a set consisting of infinite elements is infinite in size, I think it’s clear you’re using some strange definition of size with reference to sets. If you feel the urge to explain your definition, I’ll give it a look, but until then, I think that’s enough.

@paleochristcon @jimvinny @OwenShroyer1776 @UncensoredAm I think justifying the slaughter of 200 children, saying it makes it less likely the kids get raped, is probably the position most people take issue with. Should I kill you to make it less likely you get raped?

Thanks to @OwenShroyer1776 And to @UncensoredAm For the debate tonight. It was a ton of fun and much needed. I promised a straight facts debate. No logic traps, no philosophy just straight facts. It was fun to do in good faith. I appreciate it.

@Blandomen @GalaxySoldier You didn’t, as anyone who reads your response can see. The set of all real numbers [0, 1] is infinite in size, yes.

@DraconDebates @GalaxySoldier I answered your question. Yes, [0, 1] is infinite in cardinality and bounded. Now answer mine: is [0,1] infinite in size? Yes or no.

@Blandomen @GalaxySoldier An infinite set is a set of infinite size. I have never avoided your questions until just now when you refused to answer mine and asked one of your own.

@Blandomen @GalaxySoldier Sorry, do you think the set of all real numbers on the range [0, 1] has a finite cardinality? The set is infinite and bounded, yes?

@DraconDebates @GalaxySoldier Omg omg You just proved my point. [0,1] has infinitely many elements but a finite length of 1, so it isn’t infinite in size. That’s the part you’re missing. A universe being ‘infinite’ in points doesn’t make it infinite in extent. If it has boundaries it’s finite

@Blandomen @GalaxySoldier The length is one, the range has infinitely many elements. It is an infinite set with boundaries on that basis.

@Blandomen @GalaxySoldier That is one type of infinite set that has no beginning or end, yes, but I have provided examples of other infinite spaces that do have beginnings and middles. So it is insufficient to claim a contradiction is entailed by the universe being infinite and having edges/a center.

@DraconDebates @GalaxySoldier A real infinite space would be like the real number line extending both directions with no boundary. If their universe is contained in a bubble and fully visible, it has edges and isn't actually infinite.
