The Knueppel kids are smart lol it makes sense the way they overcome being lesser athletes. These would all be great fits. Some of the best considering how much rosters change. You just know they’ll all be well run, well balanced offenses.

NEW: 4⭐️ Kager Knueppel updates his recruitment and says he’s not automatically following his brother Kon’s path to Duke 👀 “It’s not just 100% Duke. It’s my own path, so I’ll see other schools and have interest in them.” View: on3.com/rivals/news/4-…

@DraftMac Conspiracy brain saying that he might have shorted his standing reach (only measured +1) to measure better in max vert

Now how in the world does Keaton Wagler actually have a solid vertical but no dunks? That’s actually really interesting. There’s obviously a difference in drill athleticism and in game but usually not that drastic. 🧐

@JoshuaW03319152 What I’ve learned from my mocks is that unless like 5-6 guys withdraw (on top of the ones we already predict, in total 10+) I’m going to feel this way about quite a few guys this draft. It’s almost inevitable lol. Multiple guys in the late teens late 1st I’m like yea no way

@DraftMac He's a guy where I'll feel crazy if he falls below a certain point. Just has a lot of "good at basketball" stuff

I love the late surge Hannes Steinbach seems to be getting right now. I could be tripping as I haven’t been paying a ton of attention to the consensus mocks but I don’t feel like I’ve seen him around the T10 as much all year until recently. Combine must’ve helped.

@draftballr Trust me when I tell you, I’m not judging him by last night. And by the way, he doesn’t space the floor because nobody guards the three-point line. It’s a fallacy about three point shooters spacing the floor. That’s a basketball truth.

I would like to formally apologize for placing Reed Sheppard above Stephon Castle on my big board. As a 6 foot, 180 pound white man, I desperately wanted to believe that a 6'2, 180 pound white man with a 5% steal rate, a 52% three point percentage, and a 42 inch vertical was worthy of a top 5 pick. I saw the spreadsheet. I saw the shooting. I saw myself. In my dreams. Meanwhile, Stephon Castle was standing right there: 6'5.5 barefoot, built like Adonis, and very obviously a two-way hooper. I thought the jumper mattered. I thought the mediocre steal and block rates put a ceiling on his defense. They did not. I failed to ask the simplest question in basketball: Roll the ball out. Have them play 1-on-1. Who is coming out on top? It's Castle. Last night he had a triple double in the Western Conference Finals. 17 points, 11 assists, and 11 turnovers. But really, the highlight was him guarding SGA. He's bigger, stronger, and faster than SGA. The MVP can't get where he wants on the court when Castle is out there guarding him. I will improve going forward. Sincerely, draftballr

Wiz fans take notice….and I do believe it can be coached out of him but we have to get an elite coach at some point. This also points to why I lowkey love boozer as a high pick. He’s truly bad coach proof imo. At least offensively. On D he’ll at least give effort with high IQ.

Okc gonna win the next 2 games and we’re gonna see this exact same post but instead proposing Giannis to San Antonio 🤣🤣 “Is this enough to finally take down Shai? 👀” 😭

It’s hilarious how we react so fast in the sports world today. You would think the series is over based on this post 😭 obviously it could happen and even if it doesn’t, Wemby will be a threat that needs proper preparation. But its also only been 1 game lol
Evan Sidery@esidery

The Thunder only need to decline Isaiah Hartenstein’s team option this summer to become apron-compliant for a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade: Bucks receive: Chet Holmgren, Lu Dort, 2026 1st OKC receives: Giannis Giannis could be what’s needed for OKC against Victor Wembanyama.

@finleykuehl @KISSproductions I think they will take Jayden Quaintance which solves both problems. On top of being a former projected T5 pick (so maybe he doesn’t get there) it makes the most sense to give him another season of rehab/g league reps, even if they didn’t already have depth.

@KISSproductions Competition is good for development. Make Sorber prove it. Plus, if IHart and Jaylin Williams are both gone in the near future then having two new centers on rookie deals would be good insurance for them

Not sure why people have the Thunder taking a big this year when Thomas Sorber exists. Have you forgotten how good he is???

I’m actually starting to come around to AJ on the wizards. I’ve spent most of the season defending him and found I’m bagging on him a little too much just because I prefer DP. I feel like long term it won’t work with Trae but that doesn’t really matter.

Which sucks because I almost guarantee they’re going to move up for swain or Yaxel. Smh.

Would assume JQ is locked to okc at 12 or 17 if they keep the pick. I mean it literally can’t make more sense. Rehab for a season even if he gets 100%. I’m assuming presti will work his magic though. It makes too much sense for a couple of teams.
Polymarket Hoops@PolymarketHoops

REPORT: The Thunder are fully expected to trade their picks 12, 17, and 37 to try and move into the top 10, per @WindhorstESPN 🤯 OKC only has ONE roster spot available and wouldn’t be able to draft all three players.

@washedwiz Granted i would also say he’s not quite at mamba mentality level. Kobe was 1/1 in that sense.

@washedwiz a guarantee that the 20 ppg scoring guard prospect comes with defensive questions. If you look back at past classes almost all the super high end T3-5 level offensive talent guards did. Kobe isn’t the name I’d use for a comp but I do think the two way prude stands out for his age

That Kobe comparison for DP is way off. AJ is more Kobe, at least offensively
