Thats an extremely high comparison though Rice's last season in college up till he broke a bone in his foot (played through it & still played pretty well but clearly hindered him) he was AVERAGING 9 catches/163 YPG/& 1 TD 👀 Then in the NFL his advanced stats have been through the roof from the get go (check pic below) & then ever since his snaps went up to consistently around 70%+ in wk 12 of his rookie season he has exploded into a top 5-10 WR over his 20+ games since then To make it even more impressive those 20+ games include 4 playoff games & 8 games this past season where he came back mid season after being out of football for over a year & having major knee surgery AND being on a snap count at first lol 👀...👀...👀 '23 - from wk 12-17 (Chiefs sat their starters wk 18) he was WR5 in PPG in PPR .... then he broke Jamar Chase's playoff rookie WR total catch record helping his team win a SB (with MANY clutch catches to get a 1st down.... at 1 point he had 12 catches & 10 were for 1st downs lol) '24 - got better that offseason & was WR2 in PPG up till Mahomes accidently took Rices knee out on a freak play '25 - was WR5 in PPG (& WR9 in Average Seperation) despite like i said coming back mid season after being out of football for over a year & having major knee surgery plus also starting back on a snap count 👀 I get they have some similar traits but thats just some insanely high praise/comparison for a guy who had to redshirt as a freshman & only got a chance the next season because EJ Williams & Cam Camper got hurt in wk 2.... & who never broke 940 receiving yards in a season in college (Rice had 1,300+ while playing through a broken bone in his foot from week 4 on..... he was on course to have 1,800-2,000 yards before the injury lol.... those 3 games he had 8 catches/166 yards/1 TD.... 9/132/2.... 11/193/0)
