Canadian multiculturalism, bilingualism, and immigration policies, create a "faceless" national character focused on economic integration rather than shared heritage.
Perfect ground for political manipulation. If you don't know who you are politicians will tell you.

@StatisticCloud @nationalpost Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada commissioned The Harris Poll for the 2026 Smart Traveller Survey Industry group with a clear interest in promoting travel insurance. This introduces potential sponsorship bias, e.g., emphasizing risks to U.S. travel to sell insurance.

Poll reveals Gen Z Canadians are not boycotting U.S. travel. 61 per cent of Gen Z have the U.S. on their vacation itinerary this year, compared to just 14 per cent of Boomers nationalpost.com/news/canada/ge…

@gregbradyx Net Zero prioritizes ideology over energy security, raises costs, harms oil/gas (a major economic driver), risks blackouts/reliance on intermittents, and ignores that global emissions are dominated by Asia.

Guess the number of heat pumps in this eco-warrior’s 8 bedroom home.
Your answer is correct.

PM Mark Carney says Canada needs millions of households to switch to electric heat pumps, arguing it will lower energy costs and strengthen the country's "net zero" transition. He added: "When we master energy, we master our destiny."

@EricRStPierre You are right. My focus is on Canada.
We live in a world designed to feed us pre-packaged perspectives. Whether it’s your social media feed or the evening news, information is often curated to keep you comfortable.
Canadians are the most naive nation I know.
English

@DraganPPera That's quite the fair observation, though I don't think that is exclusive to Canada.
English

@EricRStPierre Canada functions as a class-stratified society where dollars largely determine your social placement, daily treatment, and exposure to the "real" culture beneath the stereotypes. The mosaic looks different depending on which tile you're on.
It's very few Canadians like you. Smart

@DraganPPera Spot on.
The Regime has perfected gaslighting and fear.
Low civic attachment is exactly what they want, it keeps people compliant while the country is looted.

@noahrjarvis Toronto could see hundreds of millions in boosted activity (e.g., $500M–$940M range); Vancouver/BC a bit higher ($1B+). Net benefits after costs are lower and debated—some view it as a net positive for tourism/jobs/legacy. But Canadians don't care about legacy just $

Fifa World cup doesn't belong in Canada.
Canadians don't care about it. Many of them are clueless about sport itself.
I have talked yesterday with a few friends and they have no clue it's happening in TO?
Ignorance, lack of curiosity, arrogance to learn anything new.

@MarioNawfal This horrible act reached the bottom of humanity. How far pragmatic followers of UK woke culture will go? What is the price for that? Is it worth it?

Elon just offered to fund a wrongful death lawsuit against UK police officers who handcuffed the victim of a stabbing.
Henry Novak had been stabbed by Vickrum Digwa with an 8in Sikh martial arts knife.
When officers arrived, Vickrum claimed he had been racially abused, while Henry was lying on his side, telling the police he’d been stabbed and couldn’t breathe.
Officers immediately took Vickrum’s side and told Henry that he was under arrest for suspicion of assault, dismissing claims that he’d been stabbed.
Henry died as a result of his injuries.
The UK is beyond a joke
