Why is @stubhub allowing ticket scalping even after Ontario outlawed scalping in the Putting Fans First Act?

@FattyPatty37043 It's something I've addressed as well in past posts. One of these days I'd like to do a deep dive thread or article on the topic. I know @CricketsMatter already has done some extensive work on this front.

@EricRStPierre Until Canadians openly acknowledge that, they’ll keep taking. And Charles is a small part of the Crown. He’s got 100’s of anonymous cousins that are well above him in the pecking order.

@KEriksenV2 Same here. I wish those running it did. Unfortunately for us they're running it into the ground at warpspeed.

@FattyPatty37043 You raise a fair point. Canadians don't enjoy true sovereignty, King Charles does though.

@EricRStPierre You don’t sit on anything. Not even the land your house is built on. The resources & everything else belong to the Crown. Canadians are the chattel in place to extract.

@jmclennan8 Until folks really start to feel the squeeze they won't wake up. But I'm afraid you're right folks are all to willing to use Trump as the scapegoat for everything at the moment.

@EricRStPierre No. They'll blame tte bad Orangeman. TDS in Canada is infinite. Liberals will happily eat dirt and live in caves if they can blame Trump.

Question of the day: Do you think it's possible that exploding gas prices are what finally bring down the Liberal Regime in Ottawa?

@TrufauxJustice Global events spike prices, no argument. But Canada didn’t need a war to get crushed at the pump — Liberals did it with blocked pipelines, killed refineries, and ideology over our own massive reserves. Fix the domestic self-sabotage first.

Question of the day: Older guy lost it today over ONE CENT mid-fill-up. Demanded refund. I get it. Why the hell are the Liberals crushing us with sky-high gas when we produce way more oil than we need?

@jmclennan8 They can because we let them. Blocked pipelines, killed refineries, carbon taxes on our own abundant oil. Other resource-rich countries protect their citizens. Time for Canada to do the same.

@Lalo36181Michel We don’t need OPEC drama — we already produce way more oil than we need. Liberals just refuse to let us refine and distribute it here at home. Build the pipelines and refineries and we wouldn’t be at the mercy of anyone.

@Passion91512598 Deliberate is exactly right. Carney and the globalist crowd have been open about engineering higher prices to force the ‘transition.’ We sit on massive reserves — this isn’t bad luck, it’s policy for control.

@RedGreenShowCBC Price ceilings create shortages, look at Venezuela. Real fix is unleashing supply: approve pipelines, build refineries, cut the regulatory chokehold. We have the oil. Government just needs to get out of the way.

@EricRStPierre Support a price ceiling then? The argument that a lassez-faire market can set prices on their own is bunk.

@ItsCrapto @Kikiwips We artificially constrain our own supply with regs and blocked infrastructure. Global market, sure, but other producers prioritize their citizens. We could too if Liberals stopped choosing scarcity over sovereignty.

@Clippy_mcdnippy Wars spike global prices, no argument. But Canada didn’t need a war to get crushed, we did it with blocked pipelines, killed refineries, and carbon taxes on our own abundant oil. Domestic policy is the bigger villain here.

@kpkiwoong @ItsCrapto Other countries use subsidies and quotas to protect their own people. We do the opposite, block our own supply and export raw while importing finished product at premium. Time for Canadian energy sovereignty, not globalist self-sabotage.

@ItsCrapto @EricRStPierre Neither do the chinese They just subsidize and have quotas Like our dairy industry And then we have eggs and milk that are thrown away on one hand and over priced products on the other

@TimJohnsonSouth Private companies would happily build refineries and pipelines if Ottawa stopped strangling them with regs and ideology. We produce way more than we need. 'Free market' works when government gets out of the way.

@EricRStPierre WE don’t get the oil. Private companies do. We live in a free market. If you want state owned, move to a country that has that.
