The MGs we already own have been absolutely faultless. Why wouldn’t we get another. Still, imo, the best electric vehicle on the road.

@_AbigailMurray Because the costs have gone up massively and the regulations are a bit tighter. Also partly because some landlords are trying to make a massive profit.

@KateFantom @thealso No pre facelift, was a pre-reg. Had a mg4 on order but got fed up of them not able to give a date other than should be 16weeks from order. Will miss a few toys but I’m quite happy about the idea of the climate etc being physical buttons.

This would be my EV experience as I'm never at home to charge, I don't commute, drive long distances and I'm always cold so the heater will be on max

I think car manufacturers need to take the brave pill and focus their drivetrains on efficiency, rather than performance. Most EVs have way too much power. It’s also very wasteful as you end up needing a 100kWh battery to reliably do 250 miles, when a 60kWh pack should suffice.

@wilhil Saw a few when walking the dog earlier, I’m not sure if they are bothing him or not he doesn’t seem scared by them but he does occasionally go looking around as if he’s trying to figure out what made the noise.

One of the potentially useful things smartmeters could do, and (I think) benefit the nation, but which I've seen no suggestion of, is they could prevent rolling blackouts. How? A temporary (but non zero) limit on power draw. 1/2
