Achillobator giganticus - a large Mongolian dromaeosaurid dinosaur. This was a private commission and the client supplied fantastic references for the colour scheme and general design, but allowed me complete freedom to interpret this in my own style.

Vicky Coules will be hosting a talk at #DinoConUK 2026 about the first animated dinosaurs. Vicky is a writer and artist researching the representation of dinosaurs in visual culture, based in the Departments of History of Art and Palaeontology at the University of Bristol.

@Rev_ADB Thank you! We don’t have any preserved nasal bones for Megalosaurus or its nearest relatives so we can’t know for sure, but many closely adjacent species certainly had crests so it’s highly probable that Megalosaurus could have too. Glad you like it. 🙏
