The new Void Incursion in Eversong for 12.0.5 features all the Thalassian leaders at the gates of Silvermoon fighting together. So it does seem like the Void Elves and High Elves will properly unite with the Blood Elves by the end of Quel'Danas, not just a temporary alliance.

I've never cried from a game, in this scene I realized that this game is a masterpiece, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a masterpiece with so many messages, it's no wonder the most awarded game.

Some are celebrating and that's fine ... but imo, World of Warcraft's move away from the "Horde" and "Alliance" faction split will be seen as a historic mistake. Not only does it undermine decades of lore and world building, but player identity is how you reach your audience when they're *not* gaming. Tomorrow (in Georgia already today) marks 35 years since Georgian citizens took a decisive break from the Soviet Union.
On March 31, 1991, when asked “Do you support the restoration of the independence of Georgia in accordance with the Act of Independence of Georgia of May 26, 1918?”, 99.5% of voters answered YES.
This wording explicitly tied the vote not just to leaving the Soviet Union, but to restoring the pre-Soviet independent Georgian state established in 1918.
So, next time you decide to write a Post-Soviet Georgia, please, remember there was a pre-Soviet Georgia until Red Army invaded it in 1921.
