@ChairmanWulf That seems disingenuous. Marlene's line is written by a screenwriter telling a story and not the musings of an actual 4 year old. There's only so much time to tell a story so why would the writers deliberately include a line that means nothing?

I think it’s so poetic how cloud’s fake persona was so believable that he somehow managed to gaslight half of the audience into believing this to be his true self
@AerithCloud3 @assamly45367 1. There's no canon Rosa. 2. It's not about being in sinc - It's about Cloud's feelings towards the characters, the little differences. With Aerith he's just playing his part (his false persona). With Tifa he let's his true feelings shine (he always loved her and always will)
