This time, #FF7R Cloud’s voice actor became the target of certain shipping discourse harassment over a harmless joke. A simple interaction was immediately turned into certain fandom policing, narrative projection, and unnecessary scrutiny over fictional character preferences.

He's the one standing in front of her unable to move when she gets killed and the aftermath of it is mostly Cloud. Crying, holding, monologue, burial, grief after OG, etc

So yes, everyone would in fact be worse off and make the majority of FF7R changes nonsensical upon replay. Thanks for that.

You replied to me asking if I played OG after I typed that Cloud, in FF7R, gaining foresight, being able to stop Sephiroth but it all being made up would cause him to fail harder and be even more sad than he was in OG -> AC > DoC. Where's the lie?

He's the MC. That matters, especially with their stated vision for FF7R

Show me a world being created off of that action in OG FF7. Show me Remake chapter 18 in OG. Show me 90% of Rebirth chapter 14 in OG. Rebirth ended and the devs are still saying they can't talk about Aerith yet.

oh yeah, clotis played the same game. they can see that the game shoves cloud and aerith in your face, they simply deny it being significatively romantic and determinant in the desperate belief that part 3 will come and reverse their fave getting ditched 😂

Isn’t it odd how despite CTs claiming CAs harass the devs so much Nojima only calls out harassment and threats he receives from CTs? Or how even tho CAs “spread so much misinformation and misrepresent CT” Hamaguchi only calls out misinformation about CA spread by CTs? Weird 🤔

And they can change that through her own actions in part 3 by having her move past it. What I suggested was Tifa helping Cloud/Aerith reunite, which thankfully has been set up.

Not only does Cloud exclude Tifa about something related to him and Aerith (to Tifa's jealousy yet again), but Denzel's parents are literally named Abel and Chloe (A + C). Dev intent is so comically straightforward that we don't even need to type, these 4 screenshots summarize it

Did this person read OTWTS? The only reason Denzel is with Tifa is because of this: “Denzel had collapsed in front of Aerith’s church. That’s why I thought Aerith lead him to me” -Cloud Tifa can only play family thanks to Aerith, so are you giggling at you own ignorance?
