درس اول آمار: کسی که ۳۰ میلیون ثبت‌نام واقعی «جان‌فدا» دارد می‌تواند از آن ده‌ها نوع نمودار، به تفکیک سن و جنس و شهر و تاریخ در معرض دید عموم بگذارد. کسی که از کل ثبت‌نام‌ها فقط یک «عدد» منتشر کرده، با همان عدد رسوا می‌شود. درس دوم آمار: روند ثبت‌نام مردم در طول یک پویش خطی نیست؛ در تعطیلات آخر هفته، نوروز، آتش‌بس و... متفاوت است. هنگام عددسازی بعدی، کمی نویز اضافه کنید. داده‌های خام: tinyurl.com/janfadaa توضیحات: ۱) بین سایت‌های مختلف خبری که آمارهای روزانه‌ی «جان‌فدا» را منتشر کرده‌بودند، خبرگزاری مهر منظم‌ترین اخبار را داشت. ۲) آمارهای پویش جان‌فدا در روزهای ۱۰ تا ۲۷ فروردین جستجو شد. ۳) چون در طول روزهای مختلف، آمار در ساعت متفاوتی منتشر شده بود، ساعت و دقیقه‌ی انتشار خبر هم در نظر گرفته شد. ۴) عدد R^2=0.995 نشان می‌دهد داده‌ها با کم‌ترین خطا از یک روند کاملا خطی تبعیت می‌کند (اگر با این مفهوم آشنا نیستید، پیشنهاد می‌کنم حتما از هوش‌مصنوعی یا دوستان مسلط به آمار در مورد آن بپرسید و ببینید چقدر ممکن است چنین چیزی در داده‌های واقعی متاثر از رفتار مردم مشاهده شود. ۵) در واقع این نمودار نشان می‌دهد در طول ۱۷ روز، نرخ ثبت‌نام مردم در پویش جان‌فدا یک عدد کاملا ثابت بوده و اتفاقاتی نظیر تعطیلات نوروز، روزهای کاری یا پایان هفته، زمان اعلام آتش‌بس هیچ اثری روی آن نداشته است. ۶) اگر همین نرخ خطی ادامه می‌یافت، به زودی عدد ثبت‌نام از ۱۰۰ میلیون هم بالاتر می‌رفت. لذا احتمالا صلاح دیده‌اند بعد از ۲۶ میلیون، ثبت‌نام با روند آهسته‌تری ادامه یابد.

STAY THE COURSE! YOU MADE A PROMISE MR PRESIDENT @POTUS

The fastest way to end the war with Iran is to actually defeat the regime or make a deal that doesn't defeat the regime but attempts to contain it.  The truth is that it cannot be permanently contained for several reasons, including that if a Democrat becomes president, or even an isolationist or establishment Republican, the necessary military force will not be used to ensure compliance because the regime itself is fundamentally and ultimately incapable of honoring a deal given its fundamentalist Islamist ideology.  Also, the public will tire of it over a course of years (a forever war) and there will be other enemies that will require some form of attention, thereby requiring our military resources to also deal with them in some form -- perhaps an even bigger foe, like Red China. To defeat the regime requires: 1. continued military operations aimed at obliterating the IRGC and perhaps key dual use infrastructure; 2. continued maximum economic pressure, especially continuation of the blockade; AND 3. arming the people in Iran, a very important and necessary resource (we've done this before during the Reagan administration and I presume the CIA is still up to the task).   The president will be criticized regardless of how he proceeds, as the Democrats and their media are rooting for the enemy and hope to gain advantage in the midterms.  So, they must be ignored.  But a real victory will not only ensure our security from a nuclear-obsessed terrorist regime beyond the Trump presidency (as it won't exist any longer), but the American people will ultimately praise it as victory has a way of focusing the mind and the heart (which should have political benefits as well).  I am concerned that waiting for the enemy to come forward with some kind of an offer, which might be framed as a victory, could be problematic. I must caution, however, as I have before, that I am not privy to all the information.  And I also underscore that President Trump is never to be underestimated.  He is a truly gutsy and great leader.  Indeed, he has done more than all previous seven presidents who preceded him combined to deal with the Iranian regime's grave threat.  And for this alone he will be remembered long after most of us are gone.  That's my 2 cents worth, again.

People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. بله من مخالف جمهوری اسلامی هستم اما: ۱) خواهان کنار رفتن آن «به هر قیمتی» نیستم و عدم ویرانی ایران برایم مهم‌تر از هر حکومتی است ۲) مخالف ج.ا هستم چون حکومت دموکراتیک و منتخب مردم و مبتنی بر حقوق بشر می‌خواهم. جنس این مخالفت مهم است!‌ بنابراین خواهان دموکراتیک‌تر شدن ایران و گذار دموکراتیک هستم. این می‌تواند از طریق مجلس موسسان و برپایی نظام جددی باشد. می‌تواند هم از طریق تقویت نهادهای انتخابی کنونی مثل مجلس و ریاست‌جمهوری و الغای نظام ولایت فقیه باشد. از اصلاح‌طلبانی که در این راستا تلاش واقعی کنند پشتیبانی می‌کنیم گرچه اگر راه‌شان به جایی نرود هم هشدار می‌دهیم. ۳) دلیل نمی‌شود حکومت مستقر ایران هر کاری که کرد بد باشد و دشمنانش هرکاری کردند خوب باشد. به عنوان نیروی مسئول سیاسی ما همیشه از سیاست‌هایی دفاع می‌کنیم که در راستای منافع ملی ایران و اصول‌مان باشند. بخشی از سیاست اپوزیسیونی اصولمند این است که شما سیاست‌های خودتان را پیشنهاد دهید. اگر حکومت هم گاهی این سیاست‌ها را پذیرفت که چه بهتر. منتهی ما برای حداکثر سیاست‌های خود و دموکراتیک/منتخب شدن حکومت همچنان مبارزه می‌کنیم. در همین راستا همگام با نیروهای مترقی مثل حزب چپ ایران و اتحاد جمهوری‌خواهان ایران از مذاکراتی که منجر به کاهش تنش، پایان جنگ با آمریکا و عادی‌سازی روابط با این کشور شوند باید پشتیبانی کنیم.
