@Ashesfordayz I think your understanding of how to use lighting to build your shapes in a composition has DRASTICALLY improved. Your skill was already there, it just feels like you've become more confident in your forms. People who like the old are choosing character design vs composition!

@xao_lanVT @Diiabeetuss Seeing streamers with AI assets makes me assume they're creatively bankrupt and lazy. I wouldn't watch them, let alone collab. The Internet is full of free or dirt cheap assets that look great, and plenty of streamers thrive on the charm of bad assets they made in Paint.

I’m just gonna stop you right there because you’re completely wrong about everything in that statement. 1. Your statement is completely wrong — using AI assets does not automatically make a new streamer look bad or unprofessional. 2. The idea that AI tools prevent streamers from being taken seriously is outdated gatekeeping that ignores how many successful creators already use AI for assets, thumbnails, editing, and more without losing credibility. 3. Connections, collabs, and networking on Twitch are built on personality, consistency, content quality, and audience engagement — not on whether someone used AI for a starting asset pack. 4. The claim that “Twitch is built off networking” in a way that excludes AI users is false; the platform rewards creativity and results, and many rising streamers are proving AI-assisted workflows can lead to real growth. 5. The number of successful AI-based or AI-assisted creators is growing faster than many traditional ones, showing audiences care far more about entertainment value than arbitrary purity tests. 6. Your argument highlights why many viewers and new creators see parts of the streaming community as toxic — because of this condescending gatekeeping that judges tools instead of output. 7. New streamers don’t need approval from gatekeeping creators; staying independent often leads to more authentic growth and avoids toxic drama. 8. It is better for many creators to avoid associating with people who publicly slight others over their workflow or tools. 9. AI is just another creative tool in the modern content creator’s toolkit, the same way cameras, editing software, and overlays once were. Dismissing it wholesale reveals more about the critic’s resistance to change than about the quality of the work. 10. At the end of the day, results speak louder than opinions: focus on great content that connects with your audience, and the “serious” connections will come from those who value substance over superficial rules about tools.

@ShowyVT I try offer an acknowledgement without making them feel singled out. I try to focus on the fact that I'm glad they're back now in a "Hi, oh my gosh, how have you been?" without mentioning they've been gone a long time. I want them to know they're valued, not obligated.

Is it rude to point out that a chatter hasn’t stopped by in a bit? Not in like a mean “why haven’t you been around” way, but in a “I noticed that you were gone, you were missed and I’m happy to see you now” way Would you take offense if a streamer pointed you out?

@StaticTokyo Honestly I have noticed a huge uptick in sore winners amongst survivor players lately. I feel bad for someone who's doing so poorly in their life that they can't even be happy that they won, they still need to make sure other people feel bad about it. Crazy mentality.

@faithalla_ I would stream more but my viewers will literally tell me I need to log off and take a break to eat/sleep/whatever. I often joke I feel like an extremely well cared-for tamagachi toy.
