"We were proud of our river. It was fringed by trees. If you climbed down to the water's edge you were quite invisible from the meadow above you. Here the air was cool and richly scented. The water moved with unhurried dignity." ~C.R.Milne #worldwaterday
25 March is Hilaria, the Roman festival of joy, honouring Cybele, Mother of the Gods, and celebrating the triumph of light after the spring equinox. As sap rose and buds unfurled, Romans rejoiced in spring’s return—winter’s death giving way to new life. A sacred day of renewal.
@WorkElizab Which one does she feel best in? That makes such a difference! If they all feel equal to her, then I would vote for dress B. It's elegant and flattering, without looking heavy.
The main thing is to be comfortable, so she can relax and enjoy the wedding!
My 100-year-old grandma is going to her grandson’s wedding… and she can’t decide which dress to wear 😭💛
She told me: “Let the ladies choose for me” 🥹
Now we need YOUR help… which one feels the most elegant for such a special day? 👀
Be honest, she will read every single comment ❤️
I want to share a quick update with all of you.
Recently, I was involved in a motorcycle accident while avoiding a family of deer. I’m grateful to say that I’m okay and taking the necessary time to recover. It’s been a sobering reminder of how quickly things can change—and how important it is to stay grounded, present, and appreciative of the people around us.
I’ve always believed that resilience isn’t just about enduring challenges, but learning from them and moving forward with purpose. This is no different.
To everyone who has reached out—thank you. Your support means more than I can adequately express.
And to those planning to join me on the upcoming podcast tour: I’m still very much looking forward to seeing you all. We’ve got important conversations ahead, and I intend to be there for them.
Stay safe, stay curious, and I’ll see you soon
Having grown up in a family of Air Canada pilots (father, brothers, nephew, niece training now), the horrific crash at LaGuardia airport strikes very close to home. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to the grieving families of the pilots, and to all those injured. May time and loving support help to heal, and to honour those whom we lost.
May we also learn from this tragedy, to make air travel safer for all.
