My husband is a Trumpkin. Every four years during election season, my life becomes hell. Today he asked me what I am going to do when Trump wins. He surmised that I’ll go to Canada. I didn’t say a word. I’m praying that he is one who has trouble coping.

@notcapnamerica I was a divorce attorney for 15 years. Every woman looked so much healthier and better after the divorce, and every man looked a mess; unless, that is, he found another woman to take care of him. Which was often.

Every time I speak to a middle aged divorced woman her life has improved since becoming single and it’s the exact opposite for the divorced men.

They have accomplished feats that were said to be impossible. You paid $250,000 for a house. Zillow says it’s worth $500,000. $500,000 (fair market value) - $250,000 (cost basis) = $250,000 unrealized capital gain. 25% * $250,000 = $62,500 owed to the IRS
