I get that we are in a different era. But in my time of watching Arsenal I’ve never seen such a low level of basic technical quality in an Arsenal.

Quite concerned about the team today but we’re hardly flush with options. Losing Ødegaard and Calafiori again is so frustrating but my hopium is that this front four could thrive in a more transition-based game. It’s going to be horrible. Just get over the line.

Arsenal fans are demented. They see a team that shapeshifts into different forms, has 0 issues building up right, left or center, controlling or playing faster and basically platforming the team to play 70% of the game on the opposite side of the pitch while covering counters and they will blame midfielders and defenders for having few amounts of shots, low xG and few chances created. The issues as of late come from the front 3/4, in their disconnection from the rest of team, lack of good attacking movements and failure in their 1v1s. Everything else worked perfectly well today.

We've got a lot of the ball, but that won't get us anywhere unless we add urgency and quality to the passing. When you add Ben White struggling individually, you create a recipe where things could go wrong.

You don't have to be a keen football observer to see the problems with Arsenal right now. The passing game isn't close to what's required. Mostly slow and lateral, and then lacking precision when attempting to play forward. And as a result, Arsenal generate very little threat.
