@dlbags Mate I couldn't watch the last few minutes. Switched it off at 3-2.
English

@arse2mouse Agreed but where tf did Oliver get that extra time and how tf was Silva not carded and Everton awarded a pen. VAR is useless.
English

@arse2mouse If you gave half that money to Brighton over two seasons they would make Champions league in the first season and win the league in the second. All while turning a profit.

@NorthsideGooner @FootballEra_ Still blows my mind people don't understand this and act like there's only one XI. The Zubi slander is crazy too. Amazing in the first half of the season, integral part of the Spain team, and some fans would have you think he's Denilson. He was massively over played.
English

@FootballEra_ You need 5-6 quality midfielders to survive a 60-match season. Don’t want to start anyone 55 times like we have.
Rice, MLS, Eze, Ødegaard, Zubimendi, Merino… minutes for all of them.
English

MLS’s emergence in midfield signals the end of any real need for Odegaard, and it also automatically relegates Zubimendi to a rotation role.
The perfect midfield balance has always been:
• A #6 (DM) who can shield the back line defensively, win the ball, recycle possession, and act as the spine of the team — Rice
• A #8 (CM) who can receive under pressure, turn 360°, progress the ball through passing or carrying (MLS does both), is press-resistant, and can connect midfield to attack while also contributing out of possession — MLS
• A #10 who can operate between the lines, inside and outside the block, is vertical with his passing choices, can escape pressure with dribbling, carry in transition, and strike the ball with venom — Eze
Arsenal have found their perfect midfield balance — Rice x MLS x Eze.

@timstillman_ Hahahaha fair point. That’s what I get for opening Threads. Song is too good to drop tbf.
English

@arse2mouse lovely bit of Nike Arsenal gear there...reckon that's probably not a real photo.
English

@arse2mouse Genuinely one of the worst performances I've seen from a PL team.
2-0 down. Attacking throw-in, in line with edge of box. Thrown back to Mings on halfway line to pass along back line.
Is it to lose this game then Forest have to play first XI tomorrow?
English

@PrinceOliver @Gormo1234 @rgzzz10 @ExWHUCanteen @ReelHammerz Do you understand that intent has no bearing on the matter? He makes no contact with the ball and cleans the other player out. The end.
English

@arse2mouse @Gormo1234 @rgzzz10 @ExWHUCanteen @ReelHammerz It’s not a claim his eyes were on the ball. His eyes were visibly on the ball. Had his eyes been on Pablo it’s unquestionably a penalty. It’s clumsy regardless but the intent is questionable given he is following the trajectory of the ball.
English

@Gormo1234 @PrinceOliver @rgzzz10 @ExWHUCanteen @ReelHammerz Yeah I know, was aimed up the thread not at you
English

@arse2mouse @PrinceOliver @rgzzz10 @ExWHUCanteen @ReelHammerz I know I’m just saying that’s what he’s saying sounds like
English

@Gormo1234 @PrinceOliver @rgzzz10 @ExWHUCanteen @ReelHammerz That’s literally not how the rules work. Otherwise you’d be able to clean anyone out and claim your eyes were on the ball.
English

@PrinceOliver @rgzzz10 @ExWHUCanteen @ReelHammerz So as long as you go for the ball and not the man it’s never a pen
