So the scheme is Trump got to use the tariffs as leverage for a year, corporations get bailed out and refunded for costs they passed through to consumers by charging more, the American people pay the costs of the tariffs AND pay to bailout the corporations but don’t get anything in return.

Every day we wake up to learn some new factoid about how our entire country has become a giant tax farm for the rest of the world. What are we even doing here? Why was it possible for non-citizens to receive business loans from our Federal government? Why are we taxing American citizens to give free money to foreigners?

The fact that Congress isn’t even willing to pass the SAVE act which has an 80% popularity simply means we have taxation without any representation
