UPDATE MAY 29: Good news. One of the emergency contracts on SR 20 is complete & on Sat. 5/30 we'll move the west closure point from MP 130 to the seasonal closure gate at MP 134 - restoring access to Diablo Lake Vista Point & recreation accessible from the Ross Dam Trailhead.

UPDATE MAY 26: A lot of work remains before the closed section of SR 20/N Cascades Hwy (MP 130-156) can reopen, but we reached 2 big milestones: - Rebuilding the largest washed out embankment at MP 145 to pavement level. - Drilling the last hole for stabilizing dowels at MP 131.

UPDATE MAY 22: We're continuing to make good progress repairing SR 20 from December washout damage and a March rockslide. Crews will be working hard through the holiday weekend, and we expect to fully reopen North Cascades Hwy by June 25. More: bit.ly/SR20RepairsBlog
