Football clubs are pricing full kids kits at £100+. Football has become its own enemy as it prices out the regular fan, and then expect the fan to not seek out cheaper options. Yes, I get the safety element, but this video should be directed at the clubs to do more for the fans.

@richscottmedia Might as well make the top 32 automatic qualifiers and then the others compete to make up 64. Maybe could get rid of crappy international breaks then. But I’d prefer it going back to the old 32 team format.

I get that new teams are always joining FIFA and UEFA. However, 32 teams were enough- it should be the cream of the crop playing at the tournament. But 64 teams... we might as well just invite every nation to the party.

Michael Jordan having the best game of his life with a 103 degree fever. Willis Reed limping onto the floor for Game 7. Lou Gehrig playing with ALS until his body said “no more.” Dave Dravecky pitching so hard that his arm had to be amputated. Kirk Gibson hobbling to the plate in the 9th. Tiger Woods winning the US Open on a knee that days later required reconstructive surgery. Kerri Strug sticking the landing on her busted ankle for the gold. Sure, we have our LeBron Jameses acting like little babies, but the one thing I learned about futbol during the World Cup is that acting like a little injured baby is not only not frowned upon, it is ENCOURAGED as a strategic advantage. Americans want stoic heroes who persevere through pain. Soccer ain’t that, at least not in the day-to-day elements of the game. That’s why soccer will never be anything other than second-rate in the USA.

How he’s not had a knighthood is staggering. The man was unappreciated by so many in the game whilst adored by fans home and abroad. Keegan was the catalyst for change at NUFC. Unappreciated but adored, he will always live on in NUFC memories.
