Like if Joe burrow put up the exact stats of Darnold this year and playoffs we’d all think they’re a super team. They were very good and we just gotta accept Darnold is a top 10 QB now.

Matt LaFleur did not coach vs Chicago not to lose. That criticism was applicable in the middle of the season, but post-Lions game they were going for the throat every week.

Also the toughness and edge? Well, having your best player who plays like his life depends on every snap would help.
Having one of the most physical, rugged and dynamic TEs in the NFL would help.

The Gannon hire will be the most important hire of MLF’s tenure. The defense has to be good enough to win a Super Bowl, probably within the next 2 years. It’s going to be paramount that he got this hire right & Gannon can lead them to a top 8 defense. Let’s hope he got it right.
