@EricLDaugh Are the Kamikaze dolphins in the room with you now, Eric?

🚨 IRAN WANTS TO DEPLOY KAMIKAZE DOLPHINS AGAINST AMERICA IN THE STRAIT
The mullahs are getting THAT desperate:
"Kamikaze dolphins. The Persians want to strap mines to dolphins to weaponize the strait. Don't tell PETA."
"These rogues are desperate. The Blockades already forced 45 ships to do a 180 and now the Pentagon is using AI to hunt down Iranian mines."

@2147mill @georgegalloway Just wait until you hear about wee Rishi Sunak.

In 1999 Gordon Brown did something that would cost Britain £39 billion.
He sold our gold.
Not quietly. He announced it publicly first. Causing gold to immediately drop before a single sale.
Then sold 395 tonnes at the absolute bottom of a 20 year bear market.
He raised £2.16 billion. Today that gold would be worth £40 billion.
A £37 billion loss. From gold we already owned. That nobody needed to sell.
Gold has averaged 8% annual growth every single year since he sold it.
Every. Single. Year.
It became known as Brown's Bottom.
The literal market bottom.
Named after the Chancellor who sold there.
Meanwhile Rachel Reeves is raising taxes to fill a £22 billion hole.
Brown's gold would have filled that hole entirely and still left £17 billion spare for a tax cut.
The most expensive financial decision in British history?

Police officer repeatedly forcefully booting a man in the head. It's very hard to say how this was either necessary or helpful. Actually it's quite disgraceful. They are behaving like thugs.
sandra@mrsDugskullery
At the point where they stick the boot into his head, several times, the man is motionless. How do I know? I have those things on the front of my head...called eyeballs.👀

@ianrich15813274 We’ve had PR in Scotland and Wales for decades. There’s no calls for it to be changed to FPTP. If its working in Scotland and Wales then it should be used for Westminster
English

@ibroxrocks “Now more than ever”. You’ve been saying that for 14 fkn years. When exactly do you mean? As Morrissey wrote.

@McJagger_X So Sky are to blame for the songs about him being a DOB? Makes sense
English

It wasn't Derek McInnes to blame for chanting sectarian songs... It was the person that recorded him, apparently.
😄
Ray Von Shoesmith@at_magician
@McJagger_X @pureraygin That is rubbish, the person who broadcasts it to the world is responsible not the person at a private function.

@ScotlandSky If Ragers had asked Celtic not to sell tix to the GB would there have been an outcry?

🔵 Rangers will accept their away allocation for their trip to Celtic Park on May 10.
However, they are "deeply disappointed" that the SPFL backed their Old Firm rivals in the ticket row, adding "it sets a concerning precedent".

@Gianl1974 @jjse31 Tax payers are now funding Donald Trump's ballroom .... Let that sink in!

BREAKING: Trump’s grotesque $400 million ballroom REJECTED in new poll — Americans are not buying the “security” excuse, not even Republicans.
Donald Trump has been so consumed by his fanatical ballroom obsession that his own political advisers have reportedly begged him to talk about actual policy priorities instead. A new Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll explains why they're worried.
A whopping fifty-six percent of Americans oppose Trump's decision to tear down the White House East Wing for his $400 million ballroom. Only 28 percent support it.
That's a 2-to-1 rejection — and it hasn't budged since October. Nearly three times as many people "strongly" oppose it as strongly support it. Sixty-one percent of independents are against it.
Even after last Saturday's shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner — which Trump and his Republican allies immediately cited as proof the ballroom is a national security necessity — the overall numbers didn't move.
Republicans tried to use a tragedy to save a vanity project. The American people aren't buying it.
But it gets worse.
And the ballroom is actually Trump's most popular vanity project. His planned 250-foot triumphal arch — the gold-leafed monument to himself he wants to erect between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery — is opposed by 52 percent of Americans, with only 21 percent in favor. Even a bare majority of Republicans support it. Most independents and nearly 8 in 10 Democrats are against it.
Then there's the plan to put Trump's signature on American paper currency — replacing the Treasury Secretary's signature with his own. Sixty-eight percent of Americans oppose it. Even 40 percent of Republicans are against it, versus only 28 percent in favor.
A respondent named Jay, an independent from Montana, captured the sentiment perfectly: "I think it's a vanity thing."
Democratic Congressman Steve Cohen of Tennessee was less diplomatic: "He has no respect for anybody, any memory, any history. It's all about him."
While Trump micromanages ballroom construction schedules, tells reporters he's "been with contractors," and fires off Truth Social diatribes about legal challenges to his building projects, DHS is running out of money to pay its employees, TSA workers are still recovering from missed paychecks, and foreclosures are up 26 percent.
But the ballroom, if you believe Trump, is ahead of schedule. Priorities, you know.
Please like and share this post if you think a president with a 35% approval rating probably shouldn't be building monuments to himself with foreign steel and taxpayer money.
