If @narendramodi is urging Indians to work from home to conserve fuel then his government should pass an order directing companies to allow work from home for a year. What does he mean by urging people to work from home? Does he think this decision is at the people’s discretion?

Common people are not the ones wasting fuel. They are struggling just to survive. It’s politicians who waste fuel with hundreds of cars in election rallies & long VIP convoys. Time to end this entire VIP culture !

The exact same thing happened in Karnataka last year too. And it has happened again this year. There was hardly any outrage then. Nobody was punished. Brahmin hate is completely normalized now !

@Imsonali0 I faced a simmilar issue where the difference between offline and online was about 10%. The only advantage of buying offline was faster delivery + installation ( almost a 10 day difference)

Yesterday, I went to an electronics shop and my attention went to an AC priced at ₹38,690. But in the market,shopkeeper were asking around ₹42,000 for the same model! When I told the shopkeeper that he was charging too much, he replied, “It won’t be available for less than ₹42,000.” I told him clearly that online it was available for ₹38,690, and if I bought it using a card, I would get an additional discount as well. I said, “This is outright unfair—you’re overcharging people who don’t know the actual price.” The shopkeeper responded rudely, “Buy it if you want, otherwise don’t waste my time.” Honestly, it feels like there’s looting happening everywhere these days! There’s hardly any honesty left in the market—only unfair practices. Since I knew the correct price, I didn’t buy it. But someone who doesn’t know might easily get overcharged by such dishonest sellers.

I was in Delhi and since I come from a relatively smaller city, I noticed a significant erosion of value culture in Delhi I went to a famous, rich people restaurant and was about to pay including the optional “staff welfare service charge”, the staff member standing there asked me if I could ask to get it removed from the bill and give it to him in person.. I was like what difference does it make, he didn’t explain .. so I did as he said.. and he very rapidly pocketed the money (maybe he’ll share it with the rest, god knows) And then I was back to my hotel, I asked for a cup of tea in my room.. the person on phone informed me it’s paid.. I said yes that’s fine… and then the bell of my room rang and there was a helper standing there politely informing me that I cancel the cup of chai and he’ll instead give me any number of milk and tea sachets to be made in room and I can give him whatever amount I deem appropriate I didn’t accept it this time Because I wanted pot boiled chai But it got me thinking It’s happening in pretty rich people places, that is it a tell tale sign of wage differential.. is it a sign of moral corruption seeping to the grassroots of every work being done.. What do you think And yes, it happened as we travelled in the train.. but that’s more or less established, so no moral qualms about it 😊
