I have never experienced such a massive stock-level of Cape wine as is currently the case...you get a viticulturist's vintage and a winemaker's vintage. 2026 is a sales-person's vintage.

As someone who was abused by two male chefs when I was a trainee, I always feel hopeful when stories like this come to light. I hope that exposing this behaviour will help bring an end to the toxic culture that has long existed in some top kitchens.
