Likely Obi would have been a very potent force in the midfield today.
This is what I call press Resistant.
So calmly done, no need to outrun the defender, just intelligence, strength and being in absolutely control.

I noticed my daughter looking into the eyes of my husband, who is blind, and I took this photo. I almost started crying🥲 tears of joy because she is only a three-year-old girl who is able to notice that her dad’s eyes are different. She has been doing this lately, but today was exceptional. I heard her start to say, "Daddy, you have a boo-boo on your eyes. Should I put a bandage on for you?" She also asked her dad if it hurts and if she should put a bandage on his eyes.
At that point, my mouth opened in surprise, and I started crying🥲 tears of joy quietly so my husband wouldn’t notice. I cried tears of joy because, even at such a young age, she makes me proud of the children I have raised. I walked up to her and gently told her that Daddy can’t see, and I asked her to pray for Daddy to see again.
Please, everyone, find it in your heart to pray for my husband—my sweet daughter‘s daddy—to see once again. We have not stopped praying, and we believe the prayers of many people are powerful. Please share this so many more people can pray for my husband as well.

@jayhemz What you're not understanding is that this is nt just an ordinary building, its nt exactly man made, man was just an instrument 4 d construction.
If your assertions are right, the 1 in cannan land Ota would have long been in rubbles.
There's a greater power, it belongs to God

When I see humongous structures like this. I remember history.
If you don't have the military force to defend structures like this, don't build them. History is replete with churches and impressive monuments taken over by Islamic jihadists. They don't need to build, but they can take over especially with the wrong government in place.
This is not in any way casting aspersions on the person of Bishop Oyedepo but history is clear as to why this is a white elephant project.
I think the Jehovah Witness approach to building gigantic structures is the best tbh. The church isn't the building, the people are.

Pastor Iren visited Bishop Oyedepo’s ongoing 100k sitting capacity Ark Auditorium…. Omoh, it’s so huge it looks exactly like a stadium bruh 🥶🧎🏻♂️➡️

@Yoga_Queen01 Na Rat na
Apparently, your nephew used his/her foot to eat the night before but didn't wash his feet after eating. The rat came to eat the rest of the food materials with a touch of skin on his foot

@DavidHundeyin The guy in question underwent a comprehensive judicial process, indicating that the outcome was not influenced by Mr. Adekunle's influence. The accused had the opportunity to prove his innocence.
It's beneficial to engage in thoughtful consideration b4 articulating your views.

Nigeria is a society where those whose circumstances closely resemble this guy are celebrating on behalf of the rich people who got him jailed, because they feel much more empathy for rich people than they do for themselves.

@maryakpa_n No be Estate you call am 😀
Abi na those other kinda estate 🤨
English

Our estate transformer got bad and we stayed without light for almost two weeks.
Each house was asked to contribute ₦15,000.
During the meeting, people were complaining seriously.
One man said,
“Where will I see ₦15k when I haven’t even paid my children’s school fees yet?”
The whole thing was almost turning into an argument because he asked for more time to pay, but everybody wanted the light restored immediately.
Then one fine boy that moved into one of the end houses a few months ago stood up.
He looked uninterested in the discussion.
He asked, “How much is remaining?”
They told him about ₦210,000 because some people had paid while others couldn’t.
The guy just brought out his phone, asked for the account number, sent the money and walked back inside before people could even thank him properly.
Since that day, he has become the new big man of the street.
The amount of attention that man gets now is too much.
I felt if he wanted to help like that, he should have done it anonymously.

@ssske_le @_GodsDeputy Oh wow, what level of ignorance is this?

@Obeyamark You can't blame Nigerians though. Its like putting the cart ahead of the horse
Switzerland is 1 of the richest countries in the world, Nigeria is at the other end of the divide.
You can't be installing things like this in a country like ours, what will you be trying to achieve?
English

In Nigeria, they'd steal the panels before 12 midnight that very day of installation and we'll all have a good laugh about how careless it was to put them there in the first place.

Justice must be Served Properly. All involved must be Punished adequately
I call on the Nigeria Police Force to dig more on this killing Matter. There's more to know, to investigate and to uncover. Every person connected, associated with Usman in this killing case must be apprehended and should face Justice.

@Letter_to_Jack I've seen pple with way less doing just fine. For me, it's all abt being happy wt what you've got while still thinking abt how to gt ahead financially. Honestly, if everyone stuck to those money rules before getting married, a lot of people probably wouldn't have tied the knot.
Oke Mosan, Nigeria 🇳🇬 English

I want to put this out here because some single persons who are about to make the ultimate decision of marriage might need it:
There’s a big difference between being financially comfortable as a single person and being comfortable when you’re married.
As a single person, it’s easy to feel like you’ve figured things out because your expenses are controlled and predictable. But the moment you get married, your baseline for everything changes. What you see as financial comfort now would require much more management to be enough. Because you have to feed, shelter and cater for 2 adults.
If you really want to understand or get ahead of it, take your current recurring expenses and multiply it by 4. That’s the kind of financial capacity it takes to maintain the same level of comfort you currently enjoy as a single person.
There is more. Being married without children is one thing. When you introduce children into the equation, the demands increases. At that point, multiply your single person expenses by eight for two kids. That’s when the real weight of responsibility starts to show.
Those ‘luxuries’ and cravings you will still be able to afford them, but you would not buy them. Because bills will come at you thick and fast, never ending. Eventually, you recondition to anticipate unforeseen expenses and become more conservative with personal spending.
My point is: Prepare. Have a trajectory and make sure you marry a partner who would work to support your home. That way, your income increases proportionally with your expenses.
Many single people think they’ve cracked the code on financial comfort and they jump into marriage without well detailed plans. They forget to factor that as single people, they’re operating in a controlled environment with limited variables. You can only understand it when you step into that phase of life.

@GBX_Press Lol. You get to pay to reschedule your tickets though, the amount you would use to reschedule your ticket is enough to go eat in a restaurant for over 1 week
Ibadan, Nigeria 🇳🇬 English

A Chinese man bought a first-class airline ticket but never actually traveled.
Instead, he would go to the airport, enter the VIP lounge, and eat freely from the buffet.
Then he would reschedule his ticket, continuing this trick for an entire year to eat for free—until he finally canceled the ticket and got his money back.
