So, @3DownNation provides more CDN football content than anyone. But of late, they've gone from reporting stories to wanting to *be* them; more headline-grab than substance. The expansion narrative out of CFL meetings is emblematic. My thoughts here, as shared on @sportscage -

Honestly, Ben Affleck actually knowing AI and the landscape caught me off guard, but as a writer, makes sense. Great takes across the board.

Hey Paul, I read this trash article today! Wildly misleading! One of the most comical quotes you have from some numpty was about the game being the same for 112 years. Does the @winnipegsun have no journalistic integrity anymore? Canadian football actually copied American football in scoring touchdowns as 6 points instead of 5. The NFL adopted that in 1920, Canadian football 1956. Another major change in Canadian football would be the โforward passโ Canada started that in 1929, NFL in 1920 and NCAA 1906. How come you didnโt list any of these factual points? The 110 yard field mimicked the 100m rugby field with no forward passes, is that your hope for the CFL? Are you hoping to dismantle it back into rugby? Itโs a shame someone like yourself would promote such falsehoods about football in this country. Yesterday was a phenomenal day for Canadian football players across the nation. Especially the youth. We finally have a league thatโs buttoning itself up. Both on and off the field! The vast majority of fans are very excited! I canโt wait til these anti-Canadian football people leave the game so that the league and youth can flourish in itโs greatness.
