My daughter is in her final year studying teaching. Today she received emails offering her a teaching job in 10 different schools. She received her conditional accreditation with NESA on Monday and is not yet approved for the DoE. Suggestive of a teacher shortage, you reckon?

This morning I drove home from my night shift in ICU feeling like the wind was knocked out of me. I drove with wells of tears in my eyes and continued to sob in the shower. The whole time, wondering if the patient I spent the whole night reassuring will end up making it home.
