Dear Ma & Pa MAGA, Donald Trump didn’t lower your taxes. He didn’t get your roads fixed or your bridges built. He didn’t get you healthcare coverage, lower the price of your prescriptions, decrease the deficit, didn’t end the opioid crisis, revive the coal industry, he didn’t make “covid disappear”, didn’t make Mexico “pay for the wall”, he didn’t “put America First”, he didn’t make it “great again”, and he sure as hell didn’t “drain the swamp”. So when you say he “fought for you”, you mean he validated your hate. Because he didn’t do a goddamn thing for you other than that. He hates who you hate. I'll be on and off of here today. My mother had another massive stroke last night, and she is now under hospice care. She has been a tough fighter for the last couple of years. Of course, our hearts are aching. Even so, the threat to Democracy is stronger today than yesterday. The show must go on. There is work to be done, and that's precisely what I plan to do. If you don't see a post from me for a few hours at a time, don't conclude that X finally shut me down. I'm still here and look forward to being here as much as possible the next day or two. The truth is, it will be good for me to remain busy for now. We each have things happening in our personal lives,t the normal flow of life. Collectively, we all have an election to win, and our focus cannot wane. It just can't.
