@PastorMark Nationalism is idolatry. (So can be rationale behind Globalism, BTW). Reading history is of some use here. The world was full of Nationalism in the years preceding WWI.

Satan has been trying to globalize nations since the Tower of Babel. God created nationalism to prevent humans from creating a demonic counterfeit of heaven.

@JoshGarrels So bummed I haven't to a concert since you left the Westcoast. Now, more bummed, that you are in Manchester 3 days after I leave it.

@WestJetNews @WestJet Do you have any idea what it's like to have so many plans that all hinge on getting someplace on a WestJet plane, and then to have WestJet communicate nothing for almost 2 weeks?

This morning, @WestJet began to ramp up its operations, as quickly and efficiently as possible; however, the full resumption of operations will take time and further cancellations will be required over the coming days.  Read more: westjet.com/en-ca/news/202…

8 of history's evilest execution methods: 1. Crucifixion: The victim was tied or nailed to a wooden beam—or cross. Nails were pierced through the bones below the wrists to bear the weight of the person. It was a “brilliant” placement because no major blood vessels were hit—only the median nerve, which would cause the fingers to seize and the hands to flex down in an excruciating contracture. The feet were nailed to the vertical part of the cross, and once the legs weakened, the arms had to hold up the body, resulting in the shoulders being pulled from their sockets. The elbows and wrists would soon follow, with the arms now several inches longer. At this point, the chest had to bear the body’s weight, triggering respiratory problems, and eventual suffocation.

/2 In 1984, we see the abolition of humanity. It's like C. S. Lewis and Orwell hung out and compared notes.  This video looks at 1984 through the lens of The Abolition of Man: youtu.be/RuUUxfsQ-Ko

1/ C. S. Lewis believed that to remain human, the head must rule the belly through the chest and the foundations of these relationships is the Tao. The Party in 1984 seeks absolute power and therefore, necessarily, has to stept of the Tao. # AbolitionofMan #CSLewis #1984

Christian Bonnier, 23 of Florida, took a trip to Italy and realized tipping is virtually non-existent there. He wants the US to know that our tipping culture is out of control. I could not possibly agree more.

How the Grinch stole Cristmas, the original from 1966 is my favourite. The whole story is derived from a story more than 1000 years old. Details in the comments.
