One of the things R&R proposed for DSA convention had the idea of running at least 4 candidates for congress, and a ton of people criticized this as unrealistic but I’m now pretty confident we’re gonna beat that target comfortably. We always underestimate how ambitious we can be!

1m1v ≠ an expansion of democracy. it’s supported on the basis that it would expand democracy, an its opposed on the basis that it would reduce democracy. the debate is over what democracy in a socialist org is/looks like. it’s quite interesting and consequential!

1m1v’s opponents loved that stack more than anyone else bc now they can just complain about being called racist instead of engaging with the point: that every resistance to the expansion of democracy is ultimately motivated by fear it will benefit the other side more

If AOC sticks to her past statements on funding the Iron Dome during a 2028 presidential run, she risks alienating the growing majority of Americans (and supermajority of Democrats) who have soured on the U.S.-Israeli relationship or, worse, reversing pro-Palestinian trends.
