PSA: Beginning December 13, the Harwood Park dog parks are closing temporarily for ground cover upgrades. We will post an update when it is reopened. In the meantime, there are dog runs at Carpenter Park, Main Street Garden and Barry Annino Bark Park for your furry friend.

The planting beds in Civic Garden were replenished with 795 perennials – all drought tolerant and providing food for butterflies and hummingbirds. These Texas native plants may die back during winter, but they'll be back in full force in late spring!

We're still reliving the unveiling of the children's playground at the opening of Harwood Park. The 2 Mammoth-inspired play structures represent the park's incredible journey through time, from ancient grazing grounds to today's vibrant neighborhood.
