SIK Pre-Season Player to Watch: Pharrell Adams enters his senior season for Wichita East (6A) as one of the most decorated returning defenders in Kansas. The 6’0”, 210-pound linebacker/safety hybrid has racked up accolades as a 2x First Team All-State and  2x Non-Senior All-State pick at LB. In 2024, Adams notched 100 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and a sack. His career totals are equally impressive: 210 tackles, 37 TFLs, 6 sacks, and an interception. Now a Tennessee State commit, he's locked in for a massive final year. “Year 4 coming up and I’m at the best I’ve ever been since I started high school ball,” Adams said. “Me and my teammates are coming to prove that we’re the team to beat. My goal is to earn Gatorade Player of the Year for Kansas.
