A little late to share but my family went aurora chasing last night, drove east to almost Briggsdale, Colorado and were able to see it. To me, the sky just looked green. There were hazy clouds. But a long exposure on the iPhone captured beautiful colors. #AuroraBorealis

They need to pay customers until it hurts. This can never happen again. The thought of getting on another #SouthwestAirlines flight is so nauseating now. Please keep up the pressure on them. They have got to change their ways and actually make customers whole.

a $150 voucher for getting stranded in St. Louis. We got a $300 voucher for getting stranded in Denver on round 1 of this fiasco. To get paid off by so little is insulting. It was a traumatic experience to get stranded with no help from them on Christmas day. Furthermore

What a fun Halloween Design Challenge at @CCCfortcollins! Students had 40 minutes to design a "spider web" that could catch a variety of "prey". Congrats to Wendy's and Dominique's Advisories on your successful designs and teamwork!

@JayWamsted I switched from engineering to teaching and underestimated both how hard it is to do well and how much challenging problem-solving is involved. It’s far more difficult than engineering.

I recently talked with a couple mid-career professionals who stepped into K-12 teaching this year and they've been shocked by the challenges and workload. These are successful folks with advanced degrees who made an idealistic leap and are now taking on water. Inevitable?

In this thread, I'll document my progress on a Momo Cosplay from #straygame - I love all of the outsiders' characters, am particularly drawn to Doc and Clementine, but I like Momo's aesthetic the best - looks like a fun costume to make. I'm VERY new at cosplay.

In the past two days, my Twitter feed got completely taken over by right wing politicians and anti Vaxers I don’t follow. Anyone else? What is going on? Every third tweet is something like this. I’m close to deleting the app, it’s unmanageable.
