This is the classmate he called Alex? The drama was unnecessary, but here we are. Bola Tinubu was careful not to mention his full name. Only someone with something to hide will do that. It’s called plausible deniability in law. Just in case they sold a dummy to him. The whole charade appeared like a stunt, like everything Bola does. He wasn’t sure of the type of classmate he ordered. Alex didn’t look the part, you could tell that something was off. While the drama unfolds, the little image Nigeria was managing has been permanently damaged. This is the first time an occupant of that office will involve himself with wanted criminals, money launderers, & arms dealers. They reduced the “Office of the President” to a laughing stock. This is impeachable offense, but who is going to move the motion? No Opposition in Nigeria. You have no “Editorial Freedom,” Media Executives are all his friends. My heart bleeds as I pen this. Where do we even go from here? This is not the dream that was Nigeria. This is the worst time to be a Nigerian. We warned; but people had other ideas. This is the result, & they are yours! 🇳🇬💔

Spare Harry doesn’t want to reconcile out of remorse , he wants back in because he & the Bully Meghan Markle finally realise they’re irrelevant. The world has stopped taking them seriously; they’ve become a global punchline. Their victim narrative has worn thin, the grift is losing steam, & opportunities are drying up fast. Now they’re clinging to the only thing that gives them a shred of relevance: the royal titles they supposedly hate. It’s pathetic, really. Using those titles while bashing the monarchy is the only trick they have left & even that’s become a joke.

Peter Obi deliberately left out “former” before President to ensure some of his gullible and semi-ignorant followers would assume he met with the current President of Indonesia. And, as expected, some of them have already fallen for it. 🤣
Peter Obi@PeterObi

In conclusion of my travelogue on Indonesia, today I present my journey from Jakarta to Solo to meet with one of the most forward-thinking political figures I have long admired for his transformative mindset, and most popular Indonesian President, President Joko Widodo, (a.k.a Jokowi) Joko Widodo started as a small entrepreneur, became a successful businessman, and then entered into politics, starting as the Mayor of his Local Council, before becoming the Governor of Jakarta, where he gained widespread acclaim for his achievements in two critical areas of development: health and education. After serving for 2 years as the Governor of Jakarta, he contested and was elected the 7th President of Indonesia. He was the 1st Indonesian President that is not a career Politician, or career public Servent, and not from the military elite where previous Presidents came from. His Presidency brought significant and visible transformation across all key sectors of measure of development, health, education, poverty alleviation, rural development, infrastructure, and the fight against corruption. When President Widodo took office in 2014, Indonesia’s GDP stood at $890 billion, with a per capita income of $3,476, and its Human Development Index (HDI) was at a medium level. By the time he left office in 2024, Indonesia’s GDP had grown to approximately $1.4 trillion—an increase of about 60%—with a similar percentage rise in per capita income, which is now around $5,000. The country's HDI also improved from medium to high. In stark contrast, between 2014 and 2024, Nigeria had experienced a huge decline, with both GDP and per capita income falling to less than 50% of their 2014 levels. While Indonesia's transformation had started under the previous administration before President Widodo, it was under his leadership that Indonesia witnessed remarkable transformation, particularly in healthcare, education, rural development, huge eradication of extreme poverty, infrastructure expansion, and increased power generation, and Indonesia under his leadership became the 1st Southeast Asian Trillion economy. His administration took bold steps to combat corruption and implemented policies such as banning the export of critical raw materials—including nickel, copper, and aluminum—to encourage domestic value addition. This policy led to a significant increase in manufacturing activities, manufacturing contribution to Indonesian GDP, jobs creation, and a surge in export earnings to over $300B due to the higher value of processed goods. When we finally met, after a warm reception and introductions, I asked him, “What is the most driving purpose—the most important reason—for your involvement in politics and governance?” He responded, “The people, especially the poor and vulnerable.” I then asked, “What was the most important thing you focused on when you had the opportunity to serve?” He answered, “Their social welfare, health, education, and lifting people out of poverty.” He emphasized that his leadership was deeply rooted in direct engagement with the people. To ensure commitment, care, accountability, and responsiveness, he maintained constant communication (talking directly, not via proxies), ensuring that citizens always knew what he was doing and how it would benefit them. He traveled around the country, visiting at least three districts every week. He ensured Indonesians knew where he was traveling to and the reasons for his trips. The Indonesian government conducted periodic surveys to assess the impact of government policies, ensuring that decisions were informed by realities on the ground. He fought corruption head-on with zero tolerance, enforcing Indonesia’s strict annual asset declaration for all elected officials beginning from the council level. His last words to me were: “Always think about the people and always do what will benefit them. I wish Nigeria well, and I look forward to more collaboration between Nigeria and

Good points. Honestly, I’m a bit surprised to see Pam Bondi nominated as Donald Trump’s replacement for Matt Gaetz as Attorney General of the United States. While she was certainly on the radar or long list, she wasn’t on my short list. Like many observers, I would have expected Trump to select someone like Ken Paxton or Andrew Bailey, who are more closely aligned with his vision for the law and the Department of Justice strategies he likely envisions. Pam Bondi is undeniably a solid choice. As a former Florida Attorney General and a staunch supporter of President-elect Trump and the MAGA movement, she brings significant legal and political experience to the table. However, despite her close alignment with Trump’s policies and her prominent role in his campaigns, I would categorize her as more of an establishment Republican compared to anti-establishment figures like Matt Gaetz. Gaetz, for example, could be seen as a bulldozer—someone prepared to take aggressive action to clean house. Bondi, on the other hand, may adopt a more measured and less confrontational approach, particularly in holding individuals accountable for the politically motivated lawfare and cases that have defined the past four years. Her tenure as Florida’s Attorney General from 2011 to 2019 solidifies her reputation within the traditional Republican establishment. This may leave some of Trump’s strongest supporters feeling a bit underwhelmed, as many expected a tougher, more aggressive choice to match the boldness of Trump’s mandate, especially following his trifecta win. That said, I’m not suggesting she won’t excel in the role. This appointment could mark a turning point in Bondi’s career. As the saying goes, responsibility often drives growth. And with this opportunity, she has the chance to prove herself and become the strong force for justice that many envisioned in Gaetz. It’s only fair to give her the chance to rise to the challenge and reserve judgment until her actions speak for themselves.

Here’s why I like Trump’s new AG pick Pam Bondi Not only is she experienced, but I look at where someone stands during times of difficulty When Trump was being impeached for the perfect Ukraine phone call, Pam was brought in to defend him as legal counsel Not only was that a courageous move by her, but she also won the case When it was unpopular to stand with Trump, Pam stood strongly beside him She’ll make a great US Attorney General

The fact that you celebrate this health and safety clusterf**k that could have been a poster story if only the road was cordoned off, the workers wearing the right PPE, and the necessary planning put in place, shows that we have a long way to go as a people. Watching this video I could pick out multiple 1000 ways to die submissions and I have not even seen the full video. We cannot continue like this. We cannot hope to build world class with decrepit mindset. We must aspire to be better, do better and achieve better. Imagine that crane harness snapped and the top part land cars that where less than 5 meters when it was being installed. We would blame God or who? Please, I am tired of talking.

@the_Lawrenz The Hyenaa were not fiercely loyal to Scar’s ambitions, though. Both parties had different ambitions. While Scar wanted power, the Hyenas wanted food. Listen to the “Be prepared” song, Scar was singing about becoming the king, the Hyenas were singing about having lots of food.😂

Scar in ‘The Lion King’ is delightfully deceitful, but is he also the most inept government leader in the history of animated movies? What was his plan? He wanted Mufasa’s crown so bad that he snatched, grabbed, killed and ran away with it. In less than one year, he also sent the Economy of the entire pride rock to the gutters. Even the hyenas that were fiercely loyal to his ambitions and could go as far as plotting to murder innocent lives for Scar became very hungry (and angry) because everything scar’s “shiny new era” did not favor them and their family😭 Pride rock became a shadow of itself. Scar was a villainous genius but a failed leader. 😭😭

Today, we officially flagged off the revitalisation of Enugu United Palm Products Ltd (EUPPL). This N100bn partnership with Pragmatic Palms Limited is more than just an investment; it is the triumph of vision over doubt. Despite the scepticism that greeted this ambitious plan, we have shown that with focus and determination, we can unlock the true potentials of our state. This project is set to create 3,500 jobs, breathe life into 20,000 hectares of palm plantation, and establish world-class oil mills and refining capacities. We are not simply reviving a business; we are igniting a transformation that will place Enugu at the forefront of agricultural innovation and economic growth in Nigeria. Our vision is to make Enugu a premier destination for investment, industry, and sustainable development. Today’s groundbreaking ceremony marks a significant step towards realising that goal, proving that with strategic partnerships and determination, we can achieve great things for our state. I heartily thank the people of Enugu State for trusting in this vision, and Pragmatic Palms Limited (PPL) for their commitment to its success. Tomorrow is here!

@EdwinAka @FinPlanKaluAja1 Everything shouldn't be about tribe and ethnicity. In UK, you'll not be in Year 7 (JSS 1) if you're not up to 11yrs. Many Nigerians that japa'ed to UK had their children brought back to the age appropriate classes. That is how they maintain standard. It starts there.

The last time I checked. The Igbo kids over scored their peers in secondary school in the UK People think this will be different for Igbo kids in Nigeria? It's a crime to drag down a kid because his peers in the North are still struggling to understand LCM in SS3 It's painful to be a smart kid in a Dumb class. Reason some kids are promoted ahead of his class!
