@TFIupdates @DublinCommuters As many others have tweeted you about, Android users are unable to use the Leap App to top up for at least two weeks. Your incompetent agency shows no interest in solving this or advocating for passengers, telling them to instead call Leap themselves. Not good enough.

@TFIupdates STILL cannot top up my Leap card Via the app on my phone. Leap told me last Wednesday it was being fixed THAT DAY after this issue was already known. Why are you not pushing for this to be fixed for customers with Android and Pixel phones? Absolutely ridiculous.

The Dublin Commuter Coalition said upping the age limit on the e-scooter ban to 18 will push more people into cars and cause more congestion. It also hit out at “hypocrisy” in banning 16 and 17-year-olds from e-scooters when they can drive tractors. jrnl.ie/7108218

@DanielM20598939 If it’s the same as mopeds, at the very least they’d need to pass the theory test and have a provisional license A person who is 19 and wants to use an E-Scooter would presumably need to complete their 12 lessons and pass the driving test if it’s the same as a car

@DublinCommuters Are you honestly suggesting that 10 year olds are walking into shops with a couple of hundred euro (minimum) and buying e-scooters and then riding them unbeknownst to their parents? Parents are obviously buying them in many cases. Genuinely, what are retailers supposed to do?
