For all the drama, whether or not you agree with the run out, I feel like moments like these encapsulate perfectly why cricket is the best sport. In an otherwise unimportant series, the ability for this sport to suddenly bring 2 million+ view drama is simply irresistible.

So McAndrew did very well to make it through that phase with Kez and score runs on a flattening wicket. There was no reason for the Vics to not use the same formula today.

He knew that all you needed to do was stay in for a period of time before you'd eventually be able to settle in and push for the win. Sutherland only faced 11 before that drive. You have to just play smarter.

@Dublin_Dragon @VicStateCricket We want to look to score where possible. You can’t score by just defending all the time. If we go too defensive, that’s playing into SA’s hands. Not saying we should slog everything but try and make them rethink their plans a little.
