@bartchinn @WildcatsTongue Because of the AD and boosters. He had burned those bridges. He wouldn’t have been able to raise the “20 million” everyone wants to rag on UK about. He wouldn’t have been able to afford the team you are talking about. Arkansas takes care of him as they should.

@WildcatsTongue Why would he not have been able to achieve this at UK? I laugh every time a UK fan says this. If it were true, it would be because of the fans, not the team he would’ve assembled, which btw, would be most of the Arky roster + JQ (probably not injured) & Cyril.

Good for Cal. Honestly. He would not have done this if he had stayed in Lexington. He needed a fresh start, and he's shown why he's a Hall of Famer.
