to all my female friends and just streamers in general that are going to cons because they "randomly" got invited by men that are in positions of power please be careful. ALOT of these mfers are EXTREME weirdos and DANGEROUS i cannot stress that enough. they will love bomb you, collab with you, and give you opportunities that seem amazing at first but 80% of the time they will expect something in return. every convention theres like 30 stories about people being sex pests, people getting their drinks spiked and so on. please go with people that you 100% trust over people that are willing to give you opportunities that seem almost too good to be true. alot of people are really chill and cool but i really would like to see a big con where everyone is happy and safe for once.

I saw this post floating around and honestly I almost wonder if they were trying to say you should have expectations equal to the amount of work you put in but even then I see vtubers who post on all socials and do covers and yield little to no results. That being said, I would hope that this was intended to be directed to people who genuinely don't care about stream / use the excuse "I'm tired" bc they couldn't be bothered and are lazy. (People that stream bc they're bored and have nothing better to do) I've met these types of people in the space and at have wanted to ask "why bother then". (You know who you are) But people who have a chronic illness or even just have an adult 9-5 job that kicks their ass are welcome to be as tired and take as much time as they need to be tired and rest. Everyone is just trying their best after all.
