Eten, drank, .. ik heb zelf een bedrijf en ik werk met heel veel studenten, zij klagen continue dat het leven onbetaalbaar is als een studen.

@axel_ronse Met alle respect, Axel, maar studenten moeten zich primair richten op hun studies. Aangezien de overheid een aanzienlijk deel van hun studiekosten dekt, hoort daar een zekere verantwoordelijkheid bij. Ik ben het verder met alles eens.

@FinanceFilosoof Mijn vrouw ook, werkte in de filipijnen voor een amerikaanse bank.. kreeg amper 350-400 euro per maand ongeveer in Davao. Nachtwerk van maandag tot en met vrijdag 10u savonds tot 6-7u smorgens.. nu in Belgie 10’jaar later verdiend ze 5x zoveel als toen.

Gisteren verdiende ik met mijn job evenveel als mijn huidige date in één maand met haar voltijdse job. Ze is Filipijnse en bovengemiddeld betaald. We praten hier zo vaak over hard werken, discipline en kansen grijpen. Maar zelden over waar we geboren zijn. Onderschat nooit de kansen die voortkomen uit je geboorteplek. De waarheid (die ik zelf vaak niet graag hoorde) is dat net dat vaak meer bepaalt dan hoeveel en hoe hard je werkt.
