@MrToon8 À l'ouverture, les studios offres plusieurs attractions en version EN, FR, DE, NL, IT, ES. Aujourd'hui c'est une monstre de franglais. Les drapeaux sur les badges cast sont disparu. Les annonces aussi sont en franglais, sauf les anciens encore utilisé. Dégradation des services.

@Valoa_design @SoCal360 Chef d'œuvre, Danse Macabre. Can also highly recommend Grand Hotel. Was skeptical, but the hotel was absolutely worth its price and we had an excellent time there. Exceeded my expectations.

Picked up our rental car in Paris. Our 22-day rental from SIXT is $1,150. We’ll be driving to Italy & Croatia to check out several theme parks and do some sightseeing. Along the way, we’ll revisit some of our favorite theme parks in Germany & the Netherlands 🚙🎢🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇹🇳🇱🇭🇷

@DLPWorks What's actually moving fast in these progress reports is the expansion of Montévrain in the background! Since the beginning of TLK construction last year a whole street has been built. It looks like they're ready for habitation very soon.

[Live] 🏗️🦁 World of Lion King construction is moving fast!! ➡️ New walls & columns have appeared on the western side of the site, while the eastern section also seems to be entering its vertical construction phase! All three cranes are fully active! ➡️ On the attraction test area side, the lift hill is now in place. ➖ #DisneylandParis Imagineers also appear to be installing technical elements at the top of the lift!

@SoCal360 You aren't renting electric? It's fairly standard for the big rental cos now. Only country where charging is complicated is Belgium, but you can still work with it if you plan ahead with an app.

Looking at the gas prices over there, this is going to be the most expensive gas bill we have ever had. Thinking we will probably spend at least $1,000+ on gas over the next 3 weeks. ⛽️

We’ll be renting a car for 22 days, driving to visit several new theme parks we have never been to before, while also revisiting some of our favorite parks. Flights from Los Angeles to Paris are expensive, but we found this nonstop roundtrip flight on Air Tahiti Nui for $1,096 ✈️🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇹🇦🇹🇳🇱

@movieconomics In that sense, even Disney Abu Dhabi is essentially an expansion of Yas Island and Miral resorts. Infrastructure and major long term development plans and permits are already in place.

@movieconomics Universal GB doesn't have the same scale as Epic. It's a much smaller park. I think Epic may also be an exception because it's on land Universal already has on their resort, or a small expansion of the resort. Compared to starting from absolute 0.

@ltrv01 @Themountainkin1 @Cave0fWonders The net is the fence now. The strong square blocks hold the nets. The other wood is just there for show now. It's old and dry, partially rotten. It could collapse if not being there just for show now. It would cost more to redo it, then to have this for the next decade.

@movieconomics Yea I don't think Disney is able to build a park for 4bn, not anywhere, not even in China. But in general, when looking at themeparks, the economics are tough now. The groups are buying existing parks and transforming them. Universal is the exception. Epic may have been the last.

@Ufandil A world-class park can be built for $4bn. But not in the usual Disney way where $2bn is spent on 4 rides!!

@movieconomics When the resort was planned, these things weren't an issue, but today they are. DLP is already getting exceptions that no other resort is getting in France or Europe. And they're likely at the limit of what the state can intervene in. But I'm sure DLP knows this too.

@movieconomics It would also completely change their presence. A lot more projected visitors, more cars, more noise, more environmental damage, more night shows. They have already been curbed, the third park is right next to an existing town. Could lead to shorter hours or no night shows.

@Themountainkin1 @Cave0fWonders They have too much to do, the state the park is in makes me want to cry, and very angry. Half of adventureland is held together like this. The facade of pirates and many buildings. Discoveryland hyperion café is held together like this. Fantasyland is getting some attention now.
