@Real_Voice88@GastrOo_00 Neither team scored an away goal, so this would have happened anyway. It's why it's a marginal advantage to have the home leg second.
@CherokeeOwl That is why they should be paid properly by the restaurant and a tip should be a reward for good service, not just automatic. Every other country in the world manages this why can't the US?
People are divided on this.
A restaurant automatically added a 25% tip to every dinner bill.
The owner says it guarantees fair pay for servers.
Some customers say tipping should always be optional.
Should restaurants be allowed to add automatic tips?
Rape is the only crime I can think of that's 100% inexcusable. There's absolutely no reason for it ever. In any circumstance. You can murder in self defence, you can steal to help your starving family. Even doing illegal drugs can really help calm people down.
But rape doesn't help anyone except the rapisto And it just baffles me to this day the way people will excuse rape with, "Well he/she was drunk." or "What was she wearing?" or "He's a guy though, he probably enjoyed it."
it's the one crime that everyone should find inexcusable and yet it's the one that people try to justify the most often.
@WindyCOYS I genuinely think that Levy would have sacked him after the Arsenal defeat. I think that ENIC are out of their depth too they need a football man on the board, is David Pleat still around?
That noise you just heard was the collective sigh of relief of every Spurs fan in the land. Far too late, but FINALLY.
(Lange next before Venkatesham hopefully falls on his sword — or is pushed — at the end of the season.)
@AgeofAnge that isn't how recruitment works at Spurs, Ange may have agreed with those purchases but they are identified by people like Lange and proposed to him. If your CF was Richarlison and the DoF says I can get you Solanke for £65m there's no coach in the world that doesn't say yes
It's incredible that people doubted the £65m spent on Solanke.
Just as people doubted the money spent on Odobert, Bergvall, Gray etc.
Stop doubting Ange. He knew what he was doing when it came to building sides. Its a shame you sacked him, but he knew what he was doing.
@wife2sirhusband@wil_da_beast630@oliverburdick Here's the rub, these ontological arguments don't get you to the Christian god or YHWH or Allah; it just as easily be Odin or Zeus or a simulation.
(That is of course in addition to generally being self-defeating)
@wil_da_beast630@oliverburdick Everything in the universe requires a creator. A First Cause. To create intelligence, it must be intelligent. To create a universe, it must exist outside of the universe. It is the Eternal, Uncreated First Cause. Which we call God.
@Kish_P14 Playing for most of the season between Richarlison and Palhinha/Bentancur has made the adaptation process unnecessarily difficult. The reintroduction of Solanke will improve a lot of the players around him simply because he is an actual footballer rather just a chaos generator.
@COYSJordan94 two things can be true at the same time. 1) ENIC have mismanaged the club and 2) Frank is a terrible coach who play eye-wateringly dull football.
Since Conte's rant after Southampton we have accumulated less points than Fulham, Brentford, Palace, Brighton and Bournemouth yet our fans talk like this is something that's only just started since Frank took over.
Can someone help me out here in regards to Sportscene highlights??
You can see quite clearly challenge happens 2yds outside box, but for some reason the replay immediately after shows challenge on the line?
Confused 🤔
@Duffster73@dozzod45@sawyeurism@BigSkinnySlimm Because the Luke you know was at most, 23 in RotJ. 30 years had passed. Who is the same for 30 years? Look at Obi Wan in the prequels vs him in the OT. He’s not the same and that was ~19 years. People change as they age and experience new things/information etc.
@GameOvRMan@dozzod45@sawyeurism@BigSkinnySlimm It's the giving up that is the problem. That is what doesn't fit with the Luke that we know. I don't like TLJ for many reasons, but the problems with the sequel trilogy go way beyond one bad film.
@dozzod45@sawyeurism@BigSkinnySlimm Wasn’t awful at all. Luke was young and lied to by all of his masters. He grew up, learned about what really happened with the Jedi and saw the Jedi’s dogmatic ways as a problem. He tried to fix it, failed spectacularly, and regretted it. Seems pretty human to me.
@BrockJurgens@sawyeurism He is a 17/18 yr old boy thrust into a struggle for the Galaxy's freedom against the Empire. He's not supposed to be perfect. In ESB he's slightly older, struggling with his emerging power, the pull of the dark side and the fact that the Devil is his father! Give the lad a break.
@sawyeurism I love Star Wars. I grew up as the movies were released. It literally was my childhood. TLJ or any sequels ruined any of it. If you watch ANH, Luke is whiny and insufferable. He doesn't get much better in ESB. This memory as some kind of idealized stoic hero is absurd.
1. At no point during his time at either Brentford or Spurs has Thomas Frank demonstrated ability (or even willingness) to coach attacking, dominating football, and for that reason he should never have been given the job in the first place.
@bewarethisboy@Spacey1882 Vicario was out for about a month or so, he had that good game against Liverpool, but he was pretty poor in the other games that he played. He needs to improve his shot stopping, they should probably send him out on loan because he’s not going to get better sat on the bench.
@Duffster73@Spacey1882 I’ve only seen him play once Paul to be honest. He kept a clean sheet against Liverpool. Last season Liverpool. He looked very competent defending corners. We could do with that right now.
#Tottenham want to move for Oliver Glasner.
Palace will have talks with Glasner about his future but he won’t be allowed to leave and then go to their London rivals without compensation.
